Live blog: Giants led the Packers 20

Packers and Giants met today for the fifth time in five seasons with Green Bay won three of four last … unless they’re the NFC Championship Game loss to Giants in the 2007 postseason.

Today they are fighting for the right to meet the 49ers next weekend with Super Bowl XLVI sleep at stake. Should be interesting matchup between resting, defending champion Packers and engineering giant. (All times ET.)

6: 59 pm: Nice punt by giant Steve Weatherford flip the field for New York. He dropped a record 42 punts in the 20 years for the Jets but really struggled in the postseason. Not this year.

6: 51 PM: Rodgers and Jennings was unable to connect at the corner of the end zone on a roll it seems they hit so many times this year. Packers 33-yard FG satisfied that Crosby just sneak in a straight right. Giants 20, Packers 13

6: 49 PM: Second-year RB package James Starks‘ 29-Yard run was the longest play Green Bay day.
